The scope of this project was to construct a one story addition over the existing 7th floor outdoor roof terrace. The new banquet hall was constructed within the confines of an operating hotel and consisted of all new cast-in-place concrete, windows, metal framing, doors, gypsum board, tile, finishes, roofing, stucco, horizontal siding, steel framing and roofing as well as complete mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems. Interior finishes consisted of custom carpeting, programmable LED lighting, decorative fixtures, and high end millwork suitable for a Westin Banquet Room. Additionally, scope of work included relocation of the existing board room, renovation and addition of banquet services rooms, and expansion of existing public restrooms.
